Full Moonset, Last of 2013

This is the last full moonset of 2013, as seen from the Gulf of Mexico’s calm shores in Naples, FL. Michelle and I arrived at 5:10 am to the 3rd Ave S to spend this event taking photos, commune with nature and enjoy ourselves. The photo above (and its black and white version to the left) is composed by two pictures taken within 40 seconds each at 6:44:40 am, December 17, 2013.

Very special morning too, considering that sunrise and moonset occurred within a minute at that particular area of planet Earth: at 7:08 am Sun rose and at 7:09 am Moon set.

Este es la última puesta de luna llena del 2013, vista desde la calmada orilla del Golfo de México en Naples, Florida. Llegamos a las 5:10 am para apreciar este evento tomando fotos, comulgar con la naturaleza y disfrutar de nosotros mismos.

También fue un evento sideral especial: El ocaso de luna y la salida del sol se suceden casi simultáneamente. A las 7:08 am el sol destelló al este mientras la luna se ocultó al oeste a las 7:09 am.
