Senior Art Show FGCU
I like art, so does my partner Michelle. So when seniors at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) showing their final projects invited us to attend the opening of this exhibition, we didn’t hesitated to assist. We enjoyed unique mise en scène —installations— these talented young artists created.
I was thoroughly delighted by each of their proposals. It energizes me to see how talented these people are.
These are a few pictures I created that day, each one showing a grasp of their art but an artist at a turning point on their careers, a launching point, if you will.
Wish all of them a life full of challenges and accomplishments.

As they state at their website, the mission of the Art Program at FGCU is “to educate students and the community in the creation and appreciation of art and design; emphasize the importance of context in art history and contemporary culture; provide students with a clear sense of direction towards a career in the creative industries; and teach art with a lively awareness of both global perspectives and local responsibilities.”
