Snowy Egret enjoys the view
While capturing some water splashes, this Snowy Egret softly landed four feet from me and stayed for a little while, as if he would be acknowledging the beautiful panorama. I thought “this snowy egret enjoys the view for sure….”
The Snowy Egret, once endangered by the great demand of their beautiful plumes by market hunters as decorations for women’s hats, is a small white heron that populates large inland and coastal wetlands from the lower Great Lakes and southwestern United States to South America.
