Manuel Benitez is a man with a big heart, who spends his days attending his landscape business. Whenever you see him, he’s flashing big smiles.

This sensible man, born in República Dominicana almost 70 years ago, is the kind of guy that brings you a couple of giant delicious avocados just because, or helps you at a moment’s call. I’ve known Manuel for a good ten years and I’ve been gifted by him many times. Recently, I told him that my car died. A few days later, he called to let me know that I should not worry any longer … he bought an old trusty vehicle and gave it to me.

Here he stands proudly at his garden telling us stories about his plants and trees, during a muggy summer afternoon.
